About the Course
All are welcome! There is no prior knowledge of French required to join this class.
Each course runs for six weeks. Courses may be booked six weeks at a time and there is no obligation to continue after each set of six weeks. However, students must complete all five terms before moving up to the level 2 beginner class.
Term 1 - Duration: 6 Weeks - Dates: September 20th 2025 - October 25th 2025 |

· Numbers 1 to 31 |

· The days of the week and months of the year |
· How to say the date and when you have your birthday |
Term 2 – Duration: 6 Weeks - Dates: November 1st 2025 - December 6th 2025 |

· How to say what you have in your school bag |
· Using the Indefinite Articles “un”, “une”, and “des” |
· How to describe your classroom |
· Using the Definite Articles “le”, “la” and “les” |
· How to say what you like and dislike |
· How to talk about your hobbies |
Term 3 – Duration: 6 Weeks - Dates: January 10th 2026 - February 14th 2026 |

· Numbers 31 to 100 |
· Colours as adjectives to describe what you wear |
· How to talk about animals and pets |
· The verb avoir |
· Family members |
· Introduction to possessive adjectives |
Term 4 – Duration: 6 Weeks - Dates: February 28th 2026 - March 14th 2026 |

Your Instructor
Adora Sas

Adora Sas is a UK-trained teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a bachelor’s degree in French, and a master’s degree in Scientific, Technical, and Medical Translation. She is an experienced classroom practitioner and professional linguist, with several years of teaching experience in London secondary schools. In addition to her teaching expertise, Adora has worked as a freelance translator and précis-writer for various agencies and international organizations, including the World Health Organization in Geneva.
